What is Intex Pharma T400?
Intex Pharma T400 is a pharmaceutical grade three-ester testosterone blend delivering 400mg of testosterone per ml in a 10ml vial. The blend combines Testosterone Enanthate 120mg, Testosterone Cypionate 120mg and Testosterone Decanoate 160mg per ml. Each ester releases testosterone at a different rate, producing an initial elevation from the mid-range esters within the first 48 hours, followed by a sustained release from the Decanoate component over the following two to three weeks. Available from the Intex Pharma shop with same day UK despatch and Janoshik Certificate of Analysis for every batch.
T400 is one of the most popular testosterone preparations in UK bodybuilding due to its high concentration and multi-ester release profile. The 400mg per ml concentration means a single 10ml vial contains 4000mg of testosterone esters, making it an efficient choice for longer cycles where a standard 250mg per ml preparation would require significantly higher injection volumes to reach the same weekly dose. For a detailed review of this product including bloodwork data, see the Intex Pharma T400 review.
Ester breakdown and release profile
The Enanthate and Cypionate components peak quickly within the first 48 hours of injection and maintain elevated serum testosterone for seven to ten days. The Decanoate component, which makes up the largest single proportion of the blend at 160mg per ml, peaks later and releases over a longer window. This staggered profile means the Decanoate fraction is still actively releasing testosterone when the mid-range esters have largely cleared, producing a more sustained elevation than a single-ester preparation at the same total weekly dose.
Steady-state serum testosterone is reached at approximately four to six weeks of consistent twice-weekly dosing due to the long half-life of the Decanoate component. Users who assess results before this point are evaluating the build-up phase rather than the steady-state productive phase of the cycle.
What Intex Pharma T400 does
All three esters in T400 release the same free testosterone. Once the ester is cleaved from the testosterone molecule, the resulting free testosterone is biologically identical regardless of which ester delivered it. The anabolic and androgenic effects of T400 are therefore the same as any other testosterone preparation at equivalent serum levels.
Dosing guide for Intex Pharma T400
T400 is dosed in milligrams, not millilitres. Because it contains 400mg per ml rather than the standard 200 to 250mg per ml, drawing the same volume as a standard preparation delivers approximately double the testosterone. Calculate the intended weekly milligram dose first, then convert to millilitres by dividing by 400.
Inject twice weekly at equal 3.5-day intervals for the most stable serum testosterone profile. Monday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Friday, are the most practical pairings. Consistent injection timing matters. Injecting on Monday morning and then Friday evening creates an unequal split that partially defeats the purpose of twice-weekly dosing.
Cycle duration of 12 to 16 weeks allows adequate time for the Decanoate component to reach full steady state and for the productive phase of the cycle to run fully before PCT begins. Shorter cycles of 8 to 10 weeks are suboptimal for a Decanoate-containing blend because a meaningful proportion of the cycle duration is spent in the build-up phase before steady state is reached.
Cycle support requirements
T400 aromatises to oestradiol. At doses above 400mg per week, oestrogen management with an aromatase inhibitor is appropriate for most users. Monitor oestradiol at mid-cycle with bloodwork and adjust the AI dose based on the result rather than a fixed prophylactic dose. Aromatisation rates vary significantly between individuals.
Blood pressure rises from both sodium retention and progressive haematocrit elevation over the cycle. Daily Intex Pharma Cialis at 5mg manages the blood pressure component throughout the cycle. Haematocrit should be checked at mid-cycle. Values above 52 to 54 percent require dose review.
For testicular maintenance during the cycle, Intex Pharma HCG 5000IU at 250 to 500IU two to three times weekly prevents testicular atrophy and maintains Leydig cell responsiveness for PCT.
PCT after a T400 cycle
Wait three weeks after the last T400 injection before starting PCT. The Decanoate component has a half-life of 14 to 16 days. Starting Intex Pharma Nolvadex while Decanoate is still active renders the SERM phase largely ineffective. Three weeks allows the longest ester to clear to a level where HPG axis recovery can begin.
Standard PCT: Nolvadex 40mg per day for weeks one and two, then 20mg per day for weeks three and four. Add Intex Pharma Clomid at 25mg daily for a stronger gonadotropin stimulus. If HCG was not used during the cycle, run it at 500IU every other day for two weeks before starting SERMs.
Side effects
- Oestrogen elevation. Aromatisation to oestradiol is the primary side effect pathway. Water retention, gynecomastia sensitivity and mood changes result from unmanaged oestrogen. Monitor oestradiol with bloodwork and manage with an AI as needed.
- HPG axis suppression. Natural testosterone production stops within weeks of starting T400. PCT is essential after every cycle.
- Haematocrit elevation. Progressive over the cycle duration. Monitor at mid-cycle and manage through dose review or blood donation if values rise above 52 to 54 percent.
- Blood pressure. Rises from sodium retention and haematocrit increase. Daily Tadalafil and sodium management address both mechanisms.
- Injection site discomfort. The high concentration of T400 at 400mg per ml can cause more injection site discomfort than standard 250mg per ml preparations in some users. Warming the vial to body temperature before drawing and injecting slowly reduces this significantly.
- Testicular atrophy. Inevitable with HPG axis suppression. HCG during the cycle prevents it. PCT reverses it.
Frequently asked questions about Intex Pharma T400
What esters does Intex Pharma T400 contain?
Intex Pharma T400 contains Testosterone Enanthate 120mg, Testosterone Cypionate 120mg and Testosterone Decanoate 160mg per ml, totalling 400mg per ml. Each ester has a different half-life and release rate, producing an initial elevation from the Enanthate and Cypionate components within the first 48 hours and a sustained release from the Decanoate component over the following two to three weeks.
How often should I inject T400?
Twice weekly at equal 3.5-day intervals is the recommended injection frequency. Splitting the total weekly dose into two equal injections produces a more stable serum testosterone profile than once-weekly dosing, reducing the peak-to-trough swing and the oestrogen spike that follows each injection. Monday and Thursday, or Tuesday and Friday, are the most practical injection day pairings.
When does T400 start working?
Early hormonal effects including increased libido, enhanced training drive and initial water retention appear within one to two weeks from the Enanthate and Cypionate components. Visible physique changes require steady-state serum testosterone, which is reached at approximately four to six weeks due to the long half-life of the Decanoate component. Most users notice consistent, measurable results from weeks five to eight onwards.
When should I start PCT after T400?
Wait three weeks after the last T400 injection before starting PCT. The Testosterone Decanoate component has a half-life of 14 to 16 days and requires this additional clearance time compared to shorter-ester preparations. Starting Nolvadex or Clomid while Decanoate is still active in the bloodstream significantly reduces the effectiveness of SERM therapy.
Why does T400 cause more injection site pain than standard testosterone?
The high concentration of T400 at 400mg per ml is the primary cause of injection site discomfort. Standard testosterone preparations at 200 to 250mg per ml carry less compound per ml and typically produce less post-injection pain. Warming the vial to body temperature before drawing, injecting slowly and using a fresh needle for every injection significantly reduces this. Rotating injection sites also prevents localised tissue irritation from accumulating.
Is Intex Pharma T400 pharmaceutical grade?
Yes. Intex Pharma T400 is produced to pharmaceutical grade standards and independently tested by Janoshik Analytical using HPLC and mass spectrometry to confirm compound identity, ester composition, purity and concentration. The Certificate of Analysis for the current batch is available in the product gallery on the Intex Pharma shop before you order.
